Post 1: Who i am?

 Hi, my name is Mireya Araya and welcome to my first post on this blog! I live in Chile specifically in Paine. This area is known as watermelon's land 🍉. I'm 22 years old and I study engineering in natural renewable resources at the University of Chile. I live with my mom and my three brothers and two sisters, yes... it's a big family.

I like to cook vegan food, watch animal documentaries and I love eat sushi. At this moment, I'm reading a book called "El mundo de Sofia". I would like to travel and enjoy others cultures but what I would love to do the most in this world is see a whale swimming and dancing in the sea.

 Hello! I hope you're very good. It has been very cold and exhausting days by the university but there is little time left. This week I'll tell you about the subject I enjoy studying. I have 7 subjects this semester. I really don't have time to go out or be with my family. But there is one subject that I like very much and is called the Human Dimension of Global Change. He is a professional elective and is mainly about the effects that human beings have had on the planet. I have to do theoretical activities to approve the subject. It's not easy because you have to memorize and learn a lot but I like it so much that I really enjoy studying that subject. The main content is global changes among them climate change. I like it because the content is very interesting and the teacher teaches very well. Her name is Paulina Aldunce. The subject is given on Wednesday from 14:45 to 17:15. Hello, everyone! For this post I chose the topic A. There are two websites that I visit a lot: Youtube and Google Scholar. The first is a free video sharing website that makes it easy to watch online videos. This is the link https://www.youtube.com. I visit almost daily. I like it because there is a lot of entertaining and informative content. In addition, it's very easy to find videos about environmental issues or my career subjects. The second is a Google Scholar. It is a Web search engine that specifically searches scholarly literature and academic resources. It's like traditional Google. It is very easy to use. I like it because it helps me do homework for college. I visit it once a week at least .This page provides very scientific information on many topics.
